Amal Jolly, Saturn CEO, says, “We started this business to harness technology to help close the advice gap. As we continue to bring the cost to serve advice down, we will help the advice profession to improve the quality, cost, and scale of services in the UK, enabling them to reach more people and change lives for the better.”

The funding will support the development of AI and technology for faster, scalable, and compliant advice delivery. Saturn also plans to expand its teams in AI, engineering, research, customer delivery, and partnerships to enhance collaboration across the industry.

AI-driven compliance for financial advisers

Founded in 2023 by Amal Jolly, Michael Ettlinger and Rohit Vaish, Saturn develops compliance-focused AI systems that automate administrative and regulatory tasks within financial advice firms.

The platform handles processes such as client suitability reports, meeting notes, onboarding, and pension transfer reviews, reducing the time required for manual work and allowing advisers to focus on delivering financial advice. The system gives firms full control over their data and helps reduce manual errors and regulatory risks.

Saturn’s platform aligns with each firm’s policies and local regulatory standards, including FCA and Consumer Duty requirements. It is built specifically for UK financial advice compliance and is continually refined through collaboration with Saturn’s internal team of compliance professionals and paraplanners.

All documents produced through Saturn’s AI require adviser review before distribution, ensuring firms maintain oversight and accountability while benefiting from process automation.

Amal Jolly says, “Behind every financial plan is a human story. Advisers and their teams quietly change lives, giving families confidence and peace of mind. Our job is to empower humans in the financial advice process. By doing the heavy-admin-lifting and making compliance much more reliable and less painful, we can help financial advice professionals offer their life-changing services to more people at a significantly lower cost.”

More than 600 firms, including Progeny, Hoxton Wealth, Perspective Financial Group, and Insight Financial Associates, use Saturn’s technology to streamline advice operations and compliance processes.
