Social Links, a global OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) vendor, has secured an additional $3M (nearly €2.6M) in follow-on funding to support the development of its next-generation defence tools for corporate risk protection.

The round was led by Yellow Rocks!, which has expanded its total commitment to the company sixfold since its first investment.

Sergei Bogdanov PhD, managing partner at Yellow Rocks!, says, “AI has given criminals superpowers, while most protection tools are still stuck in the pre-AI era. Social Links is one of the very few companies that can realistically close this gap. They combine more than a decade of OSINT and digital investigations experience with a new generation of AI agents that actually understand how modern fraud, disinformation and abuse work in the real world.”

“Our follow-on investment is a deliberate move to increase our stake in a category leader we know well. We believe Social Links is uniquely positioned to define the global standard for AI-driven digital risk protection in the coming years.”

Capital utilisation

Social Links plans to use the funds for its flagship AI program, built under the AI Defender Autopilot concept. The effort focuses on digital risk protection, including the identification of fraud attempts in employee communications and the discovery of misinformation or false content related to a company.

An open source intelligence vendor

Social Links develops data intelligence that enables organisations to detect and limit AI-enabled fraud and crime across social media, messaging services, and digital platforms.

The company has leveraged a decade of work in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and digital investigations to develop AI agents designed to counter AI-driven crime. These agents operate together within an autopilot system that supports risk response beyond the scope of cybersecurity tools that focus only on technical infrastructure.

Ivan Shkvarun, CEO of Social Links, says, “The misuse of AI by the criminal sector created complex risks that outpace the capabilities of existing protection methods. Our responsibility is to provide clarity and actionable insight, turning fragmented and overwhelming data into effective defence. This is essential for securing trust in an AI-driven world. We deeply care about our investors and customers, and it is important for us to develop and grow together.”

Currently, Social Links serves more than 450 customers in over 90 countries, including 170 government bodies and 280 business customers. Around 70 per cent of activity comes from EMEA and the US, with around 30 per cent from APAC and LATAM.

The company reports an average year-over-year growth rate of 80 per cent across six years and plans to expand this pace through the release of additional products.
