What does Improvin’ solve?
The agri-food industry is responsible for over 70 per cent of global emissions originating from primary production.
Despite this significant contribution to climate change, many agricultural and food companies lack the necessary visibility and tools to address these emissions effectively.
To address this challenge, Improvin’ has developed a pioneering sustainability performance platform that empowers agri-food companies to accurately measure and reduce their emissions in primary production while simultaneously enhancing biodiversity in collaboration with their suppliers.
“We are supporting food brands such as Oatly and processors like AAK, the leading global producer of plant-based oils, in their mission of becoming more sustainable by giving them tools to reduce emissions and boost biodiversity in their supply chains, down to the field level”, says Niklas Wallsargård, CEO and Founder of Improvin’.
Improvin’: Sustainability performance platform
Founded by Niklas Wallsargård, Improvin’ is a Swedish technology company that provides a sustainability performance platform specifically tailored to the agri-food industry.
The platform allows food brands, processors, and mills to quantify, verify, and report emissions derived from their primary production activities.
By leveraging the digital infrastructure, agri-food businesses can seamlessly integrate sustainability practices into their existing sourcing processes while simultaneously meeting regulatory reporting standards with reliable primary data.
