Amsterdam-based Syntilio, a startup that is active in the field of health technology, announced on Monday, April 17, that it raised an undisclosed amount in fresh funding.
The funding came from healthcare investor NextGen Ventures 2 and a group of informal investors.
NextGen’s second fund invests in innovative, data-driven enterprises to contribute to better, more efficient, and economical healthcare.
“We believe that Syntilio has the potential to improve remote patient care greatly,” says Matthijs Blokhuis, Director of NextGen Ventures. “We are excited to partner with Syntilio and support their mission to streamline healthcare delivery and improve healthcare outcomes.”
“Bringing healthcare providers and their clients closer together”
Founded in 2022 by Rimon Hanna and recently appointed CEO Raoul Zaal (former FocusCura), Syntilio is a health technology company that focuses on optimising remote care and across segments.
The platform collects patient data and provides AI-assisted, real-time insights, allowing healthcare practitioners to make better decisions, organise the correct type of follow-up, and give better treatment.
Syntilio aims to increase efficiency and quadruple aim results by improving care delivery with smart data/AI-enabled technologies.
The company has three products. They are:
- DataHub: Data syncing between systems, for example, establishing a new qualified customer in Syntilio also generates it in your ECD or Tele-monitoring app (or vice versa).
- CareHub: Integration between Syntilio and IoT devices for remote monitoring of both devices and clients
- MedHub: Patient medical 360 overview, historical medical observations, care plans, care circle, medications schedules, etc.
Capital utilisation
Syntilio says that the funds will help accelerate the development of its software platform that aims to streamline remote care and care coordination.
CEO Raoul Zaal says, “This funding enables us to help even more healthcare organisations with our revolutionary software platform and accelerates our mission to bring healthcare providers and patients closer together. Our platform enables warm, personalised care, even when patients are served remotely.”
The funding will also help to grow the Syntilio team and develop new features and capabilities for the software platform.
