UK-based SysKit, a software company focused on developing a platform for management and governance of Microsoft 365 environments, announced on Tuesday, December 13, that it has raised $9M (approximately €8.45M) in a fresh round of funding.
The financing came from Cade Hill Investments, a long-term investor, specialising in capital-efficient businesses. The firm works closely with founders and CEOs to establish high-performing boards, form and execute coherent strategies, and help companies reach the next stage of their evolution. The firm has approximately $1B of assets under management.
Simon Galbraith, CEO of Cade Hill Investments, says, “We decided to partner with SysKit because its technology could do something useful for almost every company in the world.”
Here’s what SysKit offers
Founded in 2009 by Frane Borozan and Toni Frankola, SysKit is a software development company that specialises in producing “high-quality” enterprise governance and monitoring solutions for Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Windows Servers, Remote Desktop Services, and Citrix environments. The company supports managers, business team leaders, and IT specialists in attaining their objectives on a global scale.
SysKit’s flagship product, SysKit Point, gives businesses the ability to safeguard information that is essential to their operations while maintaining collaborative capabilities. The platform establishes control over workloads, reduces sprawl and the possibility of a data breach, and gives visibility in the environment to ensure compliance.
In order to be more easily accessible to its consumers, Syskit moved its headquarters from Croatia to the UK. CEO Toni Frankola says, “SysKit Point’s best features grew from customer feedback and daily business challenges users face. We want to provide them with the best experience possible, whether it concerns product upgrades, support, or simplifying processes such as invoicing.”
Currently, 3,468 companies globally have SysKit as their trusted IT management partner. The platform is available for a 21-day free trial.
The company was started by the name Acceleratio, with the launch of its first server-monitoring product – Terminal Services Log. It continued to grow and develop system administration tools while focusing more and more on providing SharePoint solutions. In 2017, Acceleratio rebranded to SysKit and got funding from an established British SQL Server provider, Redgate, who acquired one of its products.
Capital utilisation
SysKit says it will use the funds to scale its business operations, increase its workforce and strengthen its leadership position in the data governance industry.
CEO Toni Frankola, says, “This investment is a part of a long-term growth strategy. In the times ahead of us, an organisation’s grasp of its Microsoft 365 workspaces, with a secure and compliant tenant, could mean the difference between success and failure.”
