Last update:

Earlier this year, Amsterdam’s Dott and Berlin’s TIER Mobility announced their merger to form a joint entity. TIER-Dott.

On Tuesday, TIER-Dott announced that the company will operate under the single Dott brand name.

Henri Moissinac, CEO of TIER-Dott, comments, “We are thrilled to announce that all TIER and Dott vehicles will be available in one app: Dott. This will enable tens of millions of users to ride with us in 427 cities efficiently and safely. We’re here to change mobility for good, together with the cities, their citizens, and stakeholders, and complement the public transport systems at a local level and in a sustainable way.”

Moving forward, all TIER vehicles in the upcoming weeks will be rebranded with the Dott logo and users will be redirected to the Dott app.

All operational work, such as battery changes, vehicle reworking, or rebalancing in the city, will be carried out by the joint team, combining the expertise and technological resources of both companies.

From TIER-Dott to Dott

With this move, users will be able to access a fleet of 250,000 electric scooters and e-bikes in 427 cities across Europe and the Middle East within one single app.

The teams are combining the best technology, hardware, and operations of TIER and Dott to serve all users and cities.

After successful tests in Spain, Germany, and France, the company has decided to pursue this strategy: all cities will be migrated by early 2025.

With ten million active users in 2023 and a fleet of 250,000 vehicles, TIER-Dott is now one of the largest shared micro-mobility operators in Europe and the Middle East.

Since the launch of TIER and Dott in 2018, users have completed 380 million trips.

TIER is also making sure that the transition for all users and cities where it operates is smooth.

The team is working closely with cities where TIER is part of the local Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) systems. Local operations and contacts behind the scenes remain unchanged.
