Utrecht-base Withthegrid, the company behind the Teleport Gateway, has secured €3.5M in new funding.

The investment consists of €2M from the Amsterdam-based venture capital firm Move Energy and €1.5M debt financing jointly funded by Rabobank and Nationaal Groenfonds.

The Dutch company will use the funds to expand internationally, accelerate product development, and scale its operations to better support partners and customers.

This recent investment will benefit Teleport users by improving its features in response to changing global conditions.

It will expand the Teleport Asset Library and boost operations for European growth.

Customers can expect faster project launches, support for new asset types, compliance with European grid standards, and better data security—key elements for a trustworthy and decentralised energy future.

Paul Mignot, CEO of Withthegrid says, “We are pleased to have attracted funding from such reputable and energy sector knowledgeable organisations as Move Energy, Rabobank, and Nationaal Groenfonds. Their confidence in our vision not only validates our business strategy but also propels us forward to achieve our ambitious goals. We look forward to working together as we continue to innovate and grow.”

Withthegrid: Managing and maintaining energy infrastructure

Led by Paul Mignot, Withthegrid aims to enable a secure, connected energy ecosystem – empowering stakeholders to build a resilient, profitable, and sustainable energy future.

The company supports grid operators in monitoring their critical infrastructure through its Asset Monitoring Platform and enables asset owners and energy traders to unlock the flexibility of

energy assets with the Teleport Gateway.

The Teleport Gateway is a secure tool for managing over 450 types of assets, including solar panels, wind turbines, batteries, and electric vehicle charging stations.

Trusted by companies like Eneco, Vattenfall, Essent, Vandebron, and Novar, it helps them control their assets in real time and seize new market opportunities efficiently.

The Teleport also offers plug-and-play integrations with major analytics and monitoring platforms such as ACCURE, SynaptiQ, or Withthegrid’s own Power Quality monitoring solution, allowing customers to incorporate real-time data into their existing workflows.

“The energy transition relies heavily on real-time asset control and secure, independent data exchange,” says Paul Mignot.

“With this investment, we are further strengthening our offering and empowering our customer and partners with the required tools to meet the demands of an increasingly digital energy system. Our mission remains clear: to enable reliable and future-proof energy flexibility,” adds Mignot.
