US-based Worldeye Technologies has acquired DataHawk, a France-based provider of e-commerce analytics tools.
Worldeye supports e-commerce sellers by providing marketplace solutions, analytics, and shopping technologies. Its main product, Viral Launch, has been used by marketplace sellers since 2014.
With this acquisition, DataHawk’s analytics platform will integrate into Worldeye’s portfolio and will be combined with other marketplace tools, including Viral Launch.
Aim of the acquisition
The merger aims to build a single system of resources for Amazon sellers in the e-commerce technology space.
DataHawk provides analytics tools for marketplaces such as Amazon and Walmart. The platform gives sellers information on product performance, keyword usage, and competitor activity. It helps businesses use data to improve visibility and sales in the e-commerce space.
The addition of DataHawk supports Worldeye’s plan to develop a complete set of tools for e-commerce businesses. The acquisition marks the beginning of the company’s broader expansion strategy, which includes more planned acquisitions to grow its technology portfolio.
Keith Jarvis, COO of Worldeye Technologies, says, “Bringing DataHawk into the Worldeye Technologies family represents a significant advancement in our mission to provide marketplace sellers with best-in-class solutions.”
“Their sophisticated analytics capabilities perfectly complement our existing products and services. As we continue to expand our portfolio through carefully selected acquisitions, we’re working to create an unrivalled suite of e-commerce tools.”
Worldeye Technologies has confirmed that DataHawk customers will see no changes to their current services. Account access, workflows, and contacts will stay the same.
The DataHawk team will continue operating under Worldeye’s ownership and will remain responsible for service delivery.
