Last update:

Arnhem, the Netherlands-based Wuunder, a logistics SaaS platform, has secured €10M in a fresh funding round to accelerate the sustainability of the logistics sector further.

Half of the investment is provided by existing shareholders, while the remaining portion comes from Perspectieffonds Gelderland, a fund managed by Oost NL on behalf of the province of Gelderland.

Sindy Vreugdenhil, investment manager Perspectieffonds Gelderland at Oost NL, says,“Gelderland is a province with a lot of logistical transport. The Gelderse Corridor ensures that a lot of parcel traffic takes place within the provincial borders. Behind each of these deliveries lies a complex world of data. Wuunder can use that data to make smarter choices. That offers an advantage for their customers and for the climate. We see a lot of potential in the company, their ambitions, and the impact they can make in Gelderland.”

Wuunder: Making global delivery effortless

Founded by Jeroen Gehlen, Wuunder is a logistics technology company offering shipping automation solutions for businesses.

Its platform allows companies to manage and optimise the order fulfillment process, including picking, packing, label printing, and carrier selection, through a single interface.

The system connects directly with a range of business software, including webshops, marketplaces, warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP/CRM platforms, and browser extensions.

It also supports API and CSV-based data exchange. This enables companies to link their existing operations to Wuunder’s network of over 300 national and international carriers.

Wuunder’s software selects the most suitable carrier based on shipment type, destination, and service requirements, providing delivery options such as home drop-off and pick-up points.

The platform also includes real-time shipment tracking and status updates.

Designed to reduce manual workload and increase efficiency in shipping operations, Wuunder’s solution is used across various sectors where logistics plays a central role in business performance.

In 2023, this mission gained momentum due to the acquisition of e-commerce specialist Paazl.

With the current investment from the existing shareholders and Oost NL, Wuunder can develop technology to make parcel delivery even more efficient and sustainable.

Jeroen Gehlen, founder of Wuunder, says, “Nine years ago, we founded Wuunder with the mission to make the logistics sector greener. We are getting closer to realizing this, and it is great to see that Oost NL and our shareholders support that ambition. With the right technologies, sustainable delivery is becoming easier and easier. Together, we are taking steps towards a future in which smart and sustainable logistics are the norm.”

In addition to their offices in Amsterdam, Weert, Hasselt, and Dortmund, Wuunder is establishing itself in Arnhem at the Electricity Campus Arnhems Buiten.
