The term “sustainability” has become a core part of the description of startups and organisations. Generally, a company is said to be working on sustainability, if it finds or discovers innovative ways to reduce the world’s carbon footprint and, thereby, benefit the environment.
The debate on sustainability and climate change has picked up tremendously in the past few years. Globally, entrepreneurs are attempting to solve issues like pollution, global warming, scarcity of natural resources, and other such environmental problems.
In the global landscape, Amsterdam is one such city that’s increasingly placing more emphasis on social impact. We have listed six sustainable startups from Amsterdam that have raised over €1M and are hiring right now.
