Belgium’s IZIX and Utrecht’s Toogethr merge to create a European smart parking powerhouse

Ixelles, Belgium-based IZIX, a company specialised in smart parking management, and Toogethr, a Utrecht-based parking management software provider, announce their merger today.

At present, both organisations will continue to operate as they have been, ensuring that there are no immediate changes for customers.

With the merger, IZIX and Toogethr now manage over 1,200 parking locations in twelve countries and serve 750 clients.

Every month, more than 2.2 million parking transactions are processed via the combined platforms, with 280,000 active users, claims the company.

The announcement comes eight months after the Dutch company expanded its operations to the UK earlier this year.

The combination of both products improves functionality and insights while streamlining payment processes, making parking management simpler.

Additionally, IZIX plans to expand in Europe to address the growing need for digital and sustainable parking solutions.

The collaboration marks IZIX’s official entry into the Dutch market.

By combining Toogethr’s broad knowledge of the Dutch market and both companies’ expertise in parking management, IZIX can offer more complex and broader parking solutions.

This partnership also helps make better use of customers’ parking spaces.

Smart parking solutions help cities reduce traffic congestion, minimise unnecessary trips, and utilise limited space more efficiently.

By integrating pre-booked charging stations, businesses can make better use of charging facilities, contributing to a reduction in CO2 emissions.

Furthermore, data analysis from millions of transactions on both platforms offers valuable insights.

Toogethr: Provides parking and EV charging solutions
