Stockholm-based Legora AI, the collaborative AI platform for lawyers, announced the completion of a Series C round of $150M (approximately €129.2M) at a $1.8B valuation, led by Bessemer Venture Partners.

Based out of California, Bessemer Venture Partners is a venture capital firm that invests in companies operating in artificial intelligence & machine learning, biotech, cloud, consumer, cybersecurity, deep tech, developer, fintech, healthcare, marketplaces, and vertical software sectors.

Existing investors, including ICONIQ, General Catalyst, Redpoint Ventures, Benchmark, and Y Combinator, also participated.

The Swedish company will use the funds to double its size and open more global hubs to better serve its growing international clients. Currently, it has offices in Stockholm, London, New York, Denver, and Sydney.

The announcement comes around five months after raising €71M in a Series B funding round at $675M. Since then, the company’s customer base has grown from 250 to over 400, while the number of markets served has doubled from 20 to more than 40.
