The annual competition was organised in close collaboration with ABN AMRO, Euronext, Google Cloud, and Kennedy Van der Laan.
This yearly competition is all about recognising fast-growing technology startups in the Netherlands for their exceptional growth performance in the short term.
In 2025, Zander Labs, a developer of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) that enable human intelligence to seamlessly integrate with technology, was awarded first place.
With a 9,950 per cent revenue growth, Zander Labs takes the throne.
Based out of Delft, Zander Labs is a deep-tech company that develops passive brain-computer interfaces (BCI) and neuroadaptive technologies to transform the interaction between humans and computers.
“Our goal is to develop a powerful platform that provides universal classifiers and insights into mental states, unlocks the full potential of computer interaction, enables human-compatible AI and facilitates AI learning to increase productivity, contribute to the development of a smarter world and improve efficiency,” says the company.
#2 Aquablu

Amsterdam-based Aquablu, a company focused on workplace hydration through tech-enabled dispensers, came in second with a revenue growth of 2,162 per cent.
Founded in 2018 by Marnix Stokvis and Marc van Zuylen, Aquablu is a company operating in the health and wellness sector.
It offers a water dispensing system called REFILL+, which delivers still, sparkling, and flavoured water from filtered tap sources.
The system is used in offices, hotels, and public spaces. Flavour options contain vitamins and electrolytes.

8vance is a Dutch-German high-tech scale-up that has developed the first autonomous matching technology for talents and recruiters. This year, it ranked third with a revenue growth of 1,741 per cent. Last year, it was in second place with a growth rate of 5,819 per cent. The company claims to have trained its matching algorithms on more than 70 million profiles.
Besides the Fast 50 ranking, Deloitte has also announced the winners of four more awards — Rising Star, Deep Tech Awards, Diverse & Inclusive Leadership Award and Sustainability Pioneer Award.
Rising Star Award: Q*Bird

Deep-Tech Award: Nearfield Instruments

The Deep-Tech Award recognises startups that use scientific innovations and proprietary technology to solve complex problems, acknowledging the significant investment and time (8-12 years) required for scaling up.

Sustainability Pioneer Award: LeydenJar

LeydenJar Technologies develops a Silicon anode that boosts the energy density of Li-ion batteries for application in consumer electronics, automotive, and niche applications.
It also allows batteries to store 70 per cent more energy than the currently common graphite anode foil, while also being extremely thin. The company also claims that the application reduces CO2 emissions of anode production by 85 per cent.
This award honours scale-ups that are making a significant impact on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by addressing important issues like climate change.
“Dutch tech startups and scale-ups are at a crucial crossroads: innovative solutions are increasingly facing a lack of capital and talent, increasing regulations, and vulnerable supply chains. Only by bringing the government, investors, and corporates together to improve financing, develop skills, and scale internationally can we maintain our competitiveness.
