Throughout the accelerator program, Rockstart’s experienced mentors will drill its participants to turn their startups into successful businesses. At the same time, the program will connect the companies with successful founders and investors.

Meaningful technology

Curious to find out if your company may be eligible? Have a look at what Program Director Rutger van Waveren has to say about what they are looking for: “When considering founders for the Accelerator, we look for a great team with a well built product that focuses on a problem worth solving. In particular, this year we’re looking for startups who are working to solve big problems under the banner of technology that lets us live meaningful lives: sharing economy, new financial services, productivity tools, making education better, and tools that make software development more efficient and accessible. We’re also interested in ideas to enable the company of the future such as tools that make companies more effective and efficient, creating better logistics systems, 3D printing and computer security. Teams should be able to make use of the latest technologies such as AI, blockchain technology and sensors.”

Staggering success stories

Fore more wise words from Rutger, check out the higly informative blog he published recently called “Startups, don’t delay growth”. The man obviously knows what he’s talking about as this accelerator program has launched some highly successful companies in the last few years. For recent Rockstart success stories, you do not have to look far. Consider sharing platform Peerby who raised € 2M last March or Wercker who secured € 4,5M at the start of this year. Or what about the pocket money pioneers of Otly who managed to secure funding from Uber itself this summer? And then of course there’s 3D Hubs who raised a staggering 7 million last summer and who can already call several Fortune 100 companies regular clients. Are you getting dizzy yet?

Apply!

Can you picture your startup joining the ranks of these above-mentioned companies? Then try your luck and apply at the bottom of this page. Still not sure? Then maybe checking out Rockstart’s impressive stats or watching their promovideo will change your mind:

If that still doesn’t convince you then please check your pulse. Or attend one of Rockstart’s Office Hours on Monday the 9th or Wednesday the 11th of January for answers to all your questions.
