The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has announced the Netherlands as the next host of CES Unveiled, vindicating startup envoy Prince Constantijnโs description of the nation as โa pretty cool placeโ for tech and innovation. The consumer electronics and technology tradeshow CES is held in Las Vegas, Nevada every January and is renowned for being the global stage for tech innovation.
CES Unveiled
The event is run by the CTA and is preceded by CES Unveiled, a preview show held to showcase some of the innovative technology to be displayed at the annual tradeshow in Vegas. CES Unveiled Amsterdam will be held on October 26, 2017, in the Dutch capital of course.
Tech Influencers and Innovators set to Converge on Amsterdam
The tech savvy Dutch startup scene and its envoy Prince Constantijn will be delighted to have the global event held in Amsterdam as a way to showcase the countryโs tech community. CES Unveiled Amsterdam will bring together the worldโs top technology influencers, cutting edge companies and budding start-ups for an official preview of CES 2018. Also present will be buyers and leading members of media organisations from around the world.
Recognition
Scheduled to take place at the Beurs Van Berlage Conference Centre in Amsterdam, 2017โs CES Unveiled will see the latest news and breakthroughs set for the upcoming CES 2018 tradeshow. The cityโs selection as host is in recognition of the Netherlands fostering an environment where innovation and technology have been allowed to thrive. As startup envoy, Prince Constantijn recently led the Dutch group at CES 2017 and is relishing the opportunity to showcase the countryโs talent and innovation on home soil.
A Hotbed of Cutting Edge and Disruptive Technologies
In its announcement revealing CES Unveiled next host city, the CTA noted that Amsterdam was an ideal location to highlight the benefits of tech start-ups to the industry. At the same time the โstartup Princeโ lauded the Dutch embrace of the transformative power of technology and advances made in creating smart cities. At the event the Prince will focus on highlighting Dutch tech start-ups and giving them access to capital and strategic partnerships.
Network with like-minded innovators
With CES 2018 set to be the focus of the tech world again early next year, CES Unveiled Amsterdam gives technology companies and leaders an opportunity to network with like-minded innovators. Innovative start-ups and companies developing disruptive technologies will get a valuable chance to tout their new tech to industry stakeholders from all over the world at the event.
“Best is yet to come”
As a thriving hotbed of cutting edge and disruptive technologies, the Dutch startup scene has already experienced remarkable milestones so far, but according to Prince Constantijn, – โthe best is yet to come.โ
