Amsterdam, renowned for its vibrant startup ecosystem, has been buzzing with activities this June 2024, with startups and companies from multiple sectors successfully raising funding.
These companies are continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, developing new technologies and solutions that address real-world challenges.
According to the Global Startup Ecosystem Report (GSER), the Netherlands climbed to 13th place in the worldโs top-performing startup ecosystems, a one-place improvement from last year.
Notably, the Dutch ecosystem generated $96B in value during the 18 months from July 2021 to December 2023, representing a 32 per cent growth compared to the previous period (July 2019 โ December 2021), adds the report.
With such impressive growth in two years, it is no surprise that Amsterdam and the Netherlands as a whole are increasingly becoming attractive to investors and entrepreneurs alike.
