Amsterdam-based Avedon Capital Partners, a private equity firm investing in SMEs, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired ICT service providers Detron and Zetacom for undisclosed sums.
The Dutch firm says it will combine the businesses to create one of the Netherlands’ largest independent managed services providers with over 600 employees.
The company will be led by Tom Tank (CEO), Mark Fait (CFO), Emile Jongboer (CCO), and Dick Dompeling (Managing Director Zetacom).
As a new shareholder, Avedon Capital Partners aims to facilitate and accelerate further expansion.
The proposed acquisition is subject to, among other things, approval from the Autoriteit Consument en Markt (ACM, the Dutch Consumer & Market Authority).
The acquisition is expected to be finalised in the coming months. Financial details will not be disclosed.

Detron: IT & telecoms partner
Detron is an independent IT & telecoms partner with 425 employees and a focus on Digital Workspace, including the underlying infrastructure, connectivity, and security.
Detron is headquartered in Veenendaal and has offices in Den Bosch, Raamsdonksveer, Heerlen, and Barneveld.
Zetacom: ICT specialist
Zetacom is an ICT specialist and system integrator that helps organisations improve work processes, accessibility, and collaboration, relying on smart technology.
Over 200 employees work from its headquarters in Zoetermeer and offices in Den Bosch, Breda, and Apeldoorn.
