The legalisation of marijuana has opened up the door for a new and potentially lucrative industry. A lot of companies are springing up and capitalising on this money-making yet untapped market.

Agreement with Namaste Technologies!

In this regard, Haifa-headquartered cannabis farming startup Seedo has inked an agreement with Toronto-based online cannabis products marketplace Namaste Technologies for marketing and distribution.

It’s worth mentioning that the company secured a $4 million (€3.6M) funding from CEO of Israeli PepsiCo-owned SodaStream International Ltd. Daniel Birnbaum.

European distribution center near Rotterdam!

As per the agreement, Namaste will distribute the farming device in European markets, including the UK, Ireland, and Germany.  Also, the company launched a European distribution center near Rotterdam, Netherlands, back in May 2019.

For the uninitiated, Seedo provides the hemp and agriculture industries with fully automated and controlled indoor growing solutions for home-grow and commercial hemp, herbs, and vegetables. The device utilizes AI to analyze the state of the crops and determine their needs.

The device manages various factors, including the climate, lighting, and nutrient parameters.

No prior experience needed!

Furthermore, this system powered by AI enables anyone right from average consumers to large-scale producers the ability to grow without prior experience or huge space. Notably, cultivators can use Seedo’s intelligent technology to harvest the next generation of precision agriculture.

Reduces cultivation costs!

On the other hand, it reduces cultivation costs by 40%, delivering maximum daylight illumination, built-in carbon filters, automated air conditioning, and a smart post-harvest drying system to users as well.

Get full kit at €2187!

If interested, you can get your hands on the device directly from the company at $2,400 (approx €2187) excluding $350 (€319) for shipping. Along with the mini-fridge, users will also get a full growing kit including a nutrient package, two CO2 cylinders, one rockwool grow slab, an air filter, a water filter, and the app. Available on both Android and iOS, users can monitor water levels, watch your weed grow in nothing less than HD.
