Milan-based Cassandra.app, an AI-powered platform focused on media mix performance and advertising ROI, has raised €2M in a seed funding round.

The round was led by Italian Founders Fund, with participation from PitchDrive, Webranking, Mana Ventures, Lorenzo Lato, and Marco di Pietro.

An AI budget allocator

Founded in 2023 by Gabriele Franco and Cristian Nozzi, Cassandra.app specialises in optimising advertising investments using artificial intelligence. 

The platform employs machine learning algorithms to improve media mix effectiveness, offering brands and marketers tools to maximise return on investment.

Cassandra.app replaces outdated models like last-click attribution and third-party cookies with AI-driven Marketing Mix Modelling and Incrementality Testing. Its technology analyses advertising data, identifies inefficient budget allocations, and suggests optimised spending strategies. 

The company has reached €1M in Annual Recurring Revenue within 16 months and recently integrated with Meta as a Marketing Mix Modelling partner.

Currently, the company supports over 60 clients worldwide, including Treedom, Verisure, Ferragamo, Urban Armor Gear, and Baltic Born. The platform analyses over €500M in advertising investments annually.

Capital utilisation

Cassandra.app will use the funds to support international expansion, further develop its AI-powered Marketing Mix Modelling as well as expand its team. The company also plans to integrate Google’s Meridian technology within three months.
