Odense-based CCIT, a Danish supplier of IT, document, print and copy solutions, is acquiring Denmark’s IT company Komplex IT as part of its growth strategy.

CCIT, founded in 2020, is an IT company with a local presence across Denmark. It provides IT infrastructure, managed services, Microsoft solutions, document solutions, and consulting. CCIT serves SMEs, large enterprises, and public institutions.

This acquisition doubles CCIT’s number of employees and increases its revenue to more than DKK 500M (nearly €67M). This move also strengthens CCIT’s position in the Danish IT sector.

Hans Dürke Bloch, CEO of CCIT, says, “We are very excited to welcome Komplex IT into the CCIT family. They have a strong culture, some of the most skilled specialists in the industry, and a customer base that aligns perfectly with our vision.”

“Together, we are creating an IT powerhouse that will set new standards for infrastructure, cloud, and managed services in Denmark. This is not just about scaling up – we are building a new market leader.”

Aim of the acquisition

Komplex IT provides solutions for digital transformation by addressing technological debt and simplifying complex IT challenges. The company specialises in public, private, and hybrid cloud, automation, optimisation, operations, and IT security. It delivers IT services through certified employees, advanced technologies, and flexible solutions.

The acquisition brings together two Danish IT firms specialising in infrastructure, cloud, and IT operations. Both companies aim to become Denmark’s preferred IT partner and now have the combined resources to pursue this goal.

Lars Kok, CEO of Komplex IT, says, “This is a game-changer for us. For some time, we have been strategically developing Komplex IT to become the absolute leading infrastructure and cloud provider in Denmark.”

“Becoming part of CCIT dramatically accelerates that journey. With the synergies and resources we now have access to, we are ready to reshape the market and take our next major step forward.”

Pride Capital Partners has supported CCIT’s acquisition of Komplex IT, recognising the potential of the newly formed IT group.

Bas Welten, Board Member of CCIT and Co-Head of Nordics at Pride Capital Partners, says, “We see a perfect strategic match between CCIT and Komplex IT. Both companies possess strong technical expertise and an ambitious market approach. This acquisition is not just about growth – it’s a transformational leap for both companies.”

“Together, they now have the foundation to become a dominant force in the Danish IT industry, and we are excited to support their journey.”

Following the deal’s completion on March 21, 2025, CCIT will integrate Komplex IT gradually. The process will ensure continued collaboration with employees and customers.
