ChannelSight is a Dublin-based platform that lets brands grow their offline and online sales by giving them unique insights into content and campaign performance. Its ‘Where to Buy’ technology enables large brands, including Mondelez, Pepsi, Bosch and Philips to drive sales from their digital content. They will also understand what content and ads work effectively across digital channels.

In a recent development, the Dublin company has raised $10 million (€8.8 million) in a Series B capital round led by Connected Capital, a Dutch SaaS venture capital company. Even its existing investors, such as ACT Venture Capital, Nauta Capital, and Enterprise Ireland, participated in the latest funding round.

ChannelSight’s product roadmap

ChannelSight was founded in 2013 by John Beckett and Niall O’Gorman. The fresh investment will accelerate the company’s product roadmap delivery and global expansion. As of now, hundreds of brands across 65 countries use ChannelSight technology to help users navigate digital content and purchase the product they are interested in.

Its advanced insights platform gives brands access to unique business intelligence, letting them optimise future budget allocations and increase ROI from their content and campaigns.

Currently, ChannelSight has a team of 70 employees and is hiring 30 more people for additional roles across sales, marketing, product and engineering for their offices in Dublin, Brasov and Thessaloniki.

“ChannelSight is modernising how brands drive profitable user engagement with their content across digital channels and markets”, said John Beckett, CEO and co-founder of ChannelSight. “This new round of investment will enable us to accelerate the delivery of innovative new product lines and increase our global reach. We’re excited about the impact this will have for our clients and are proud to partner with Connected Capital and our existing investors to build further momentum and continue our strong annual growth.”

“We believe that Channelsight is a truly exciting company with global ambitions and market-defining potential,” said John Flynn, Managing Partner at ACT Venture Capital. “Having shown significant growth, we have confidence the team is in place to lead the expansion. ACT is delighted to support the acceleration of this expansion and will continue to support Channelsight’s global ambitions.”
