In many industries, especially hospitality and retail, many employers are looking for a strong flexible workforce, due to occupancy fluctuations. At the same time, numerous people are looking to make some extra cash in their free time.
In this regard, Temper, a Dutch startup acts as a bridge between these two groups providing a platform where employers can post jobs and freelancers can pick them up on their own terms. Temper is a platform where logistics, retail, and hospitality companies can find FreeFlexers.

Recently, the Amsterdam-based startup appointed Niek van Leeuwen as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 17 August. Van Leeuwen, who previously worked for Heineken and Uber, will succeed Paul Eggink as CEO. Eggink remains involved as an advisor.
