Based out of Rotterdam, Staffyou, an on-demand staffing platform, has received an investment of €1 million in growth capital from the Euro-Rijn Group. It’s worth mentioning that, with the capital injection, Euro-Rijn Group acquires a minority interest in Staffyou.
Founder and CEO, Pavle Beslic of Staffyou:
National expansion is on the agenda in the coming years. Staffyou must be an international player within 5 years. We also continue to develop our SAAS services. We will also delve into potential acquisitions of interesting temporary employment parties in the coming year.
For the uninitiated, Staffyou is an on-demand staffing platform where clients in the hospitality, retail, and logistics sector can hire staff 24/7.
The staff, mainly students, decide where and when they work and can interact directly with clients. The staffers are employed or work as a freelancer. This makes Staffyou the only hybrid platform in The Netherlands.
Ruben Donker, Chief Technology Officer of Staffyou:
We are seeing more and more companies in the temporary employment sector that work with a platform. We think that in the near future the market will consist entirely of software companies that provide personnel instead of temporary employment agencies that use a standard software package.
Staffyou distinguishes itself from other on-demand staffing platforms by the selection of candidates, the extensive screening and an in-person interviews at the Staffyou offices. Employees can be employed by Staffyou or work as a freelancer.
