FT1000 2018: These 5 startups from Netherlands got listed as Europe’s fastest growing startups

The Netherlands is one of the frontrunners when it comes to the startup industry in Europe. Recently, the country has achieved new grounds in the ever-exciting startup field. This can be said, as around 23 innovative startups from the prospering country have made it to the most esteemed list — FT1000 2018: Europe’s fastest growing startups in between 2013 and 2016.

Published by the Financial Times in partnership with Statista, FT 1000 lists the companies in 31 European countries that have achieved the highest annual growth rates in revenue between 2013 and 2016, and the Netherlands is one of them.

The FT1000 ranks companies from across Europe in terms of their sales growth between 2013 and 2016. This year, Silicon Canals has listed the top 5 tech companies from across the region which are a part of the proud list, including two from Amsterdam.

1. Bynder (3,712% Revenue Growth)

Founded in 2013 by CEO Chris Hall, Bynder is an award-winning digital file management software startup which has client like Nike, Puma, Canon, Spotify and more. Bynder is already in the top 20 list of FT100 ranks. When just looking under the country category, Bynder is the highest revenue grossing companies in the Netherlands this year. The company takes the top spot with 3,712% of revenue growth to €12.04 million.

2. Catawiki (2,094% Revenue Growth)

Europe’s fastest growing online auction platform which auctions in various categories including art, antiques, classic cars, watches, jewellery, fashion, comics and stamps is also made it to the list. Catawiki which has a USP of listing items only with a fascinating story has seen a growth of 2,094% this year and taken it to €35.10 million.

3. Scribbr (1,152% Revenue Growth)

With more than 400 editors, Scribbr, a professional academic editing service based in the Netherlands is also part of the successful list with a revenue of €1.9million. Scribbr helps students with their thesis and dissertation, and can have their thesis proofread and edited by over 400 affiliated freelance editors. Students can also check their thesis for plagiarism with the Ephorus Check and make use of the vast knowledge base. Scribbr edits theses and dissertations in 11 languages.

4. Yellow Star Solutions (306% Revenue Growth)

Yellow Star Solutions also marked a spot in the list with around 306% of profitable revenue growth to €4.9 million. It’s a software provider startup with IT Solutions for social supply chain. The company aims to provide end-to-end visibility and collaboration in a transparent supply chain.

5. Workstreampeople (281% Revenue Growth)

An independent software supplier, Workstreampeople also was a part of the recognized list by achieving 281% of revenue growth at €7.2 million. Workstreampeople is a developer and supplier of the Anywhere365 communication (a global UCC platform) and dialogue management platform for Microsoft Lync and Skype for Business. Workstreampeople solutions enable organisations to improve their business results and operational efficiency.
