London-based Genie, the AI-powered operations platform that helps e-commerce brands, announced that it is officially joining forces with Doss, an AI-native Adaptive Resource Planning (ARP) company.

Genie was an operations platform designed for rapidly growing Shopify e-commerce brands, aiming to streamline workflows such as inventory management, purchase orders, and forecasting. These processes were made user-friendly, efficient, and scalable.

By July 2025, more than 300 brands trusted Genie, managing $18M (approximately €15.3M) in monthly purchase orders across half a million SKUs and nearly 20,000 suppliers.

This integration will see the Genie platform sunset on August 31, 2025, as the technology and team transition into Doss’s ecosystem.

The current customer will continue to have free access until the end.

Additionally, the company states that it ceased charging all customers on July 10, 2025, and annual plan customers will receive a refund for any unused months.

Joins DOSS as Head of Partnerships & Ecosystem

As a part of the acquisition, Sebastiaan Debrouwere will join Doss as Head of Partnerships & Ecosystem.

“The decision to join forces with Doss grew naturally from a shared vision. When we first met founders Wiley and Arnav in San Francisco, we quickly discovered a strong alignment in our values and goals. A memorable day of whiteboarding, late-night Shopify debugging, and friendly yet competitive pool billiards set the stage for deeper collaboration,” says Sebastiaan Debrouwere, Founder & CEO, Genie.

“As we began supporting customers who had outgrown Genie in migrating to Doss, we saw firsthand how seamlessly Genie’s strengths complemented Doss’s powerful, adaptable platform. Brands rapidly benefited from improved inventory management across multiple locations, advanced accounting integrations, and highly personalised workflows,” adds Debrouwere.

The announcement comes three months after Doss raised $18M (approximately €15.3M) in a Series A round.

DOSS: ERP and Data Platform

Founded by Wiley Jones and Arnav Mishra, DOSS develops tools for teams working in real-world environments.

The company’s product, DossARP, is a lightweight ERP and data platform that offers a flexible structure adaptable to individual business requirements.

It streamlines fragmented workflows in areas like orders, inventory, procurement, production, and finance.

Whether companies are moving from spreadsheets or combining different systems, DOSS provides clear operations without interfering with existing processes.

“This move aligns perfectly with our post-Series A momentum as we double down on strong partnerships that are key to our mission. Seb will lead our partner programs, build deep ecosystems of operations experts, software partners, and integrators, and accelerate time-to-value, driving faster execution toward world-class ops for our growing customer base,” says Wiley Jones & Arnav Mishra, founders of Doss.
