Open-sourced

Since 2014, GitLab hosted over one million projects – more than 100,000 organizations worldwide use the software platform. GitLab differs from similar web-based platforms like GitHub and BitBucket because they are completely open-core and open-sourced, with the main focus on supporting developers to get their product out the door as fast as possible, and letting them work on project from anywhere at anytime, straight from a web browser.

The vision of GitLab is to allow everyone to collaborate on all digital content so people can cooperate effectively and achieve better results, faster. We can do this by providing an integrated set of tools that allows you to go faster from idea to production.

Live Event

During a special event at 5PM GMT, GitLab CEO Sid Sijbrandij will demo the so-called ‘Master Plan’ and product direction for building a frictionless and integrated development experience. Curious? Register for the live event here.
