Berlin-based grocery delivery unicorn Gorillas announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Anastasia Dellis as its new General Manager for the Netherlands.
Sadik Cevik, Gorillasโ former GM in the Netherlands, will be the companyโs Global VP of Corporate Development, M&A and Investor Relations. In his new position, Cevik will collaborate closely with Elmar Broscheit, CFO of Gorillas, on international projects involving alliances, M&A, and profitability.
Gorillas claims that Sadik was responsible for expanding and elevating the companyโs operations in the Netherlands as well as enabling the company to grow in a sustainable manner.

Who is Anastasia Dellis?
Gorillas mention in a statement that Anastasia Dellis has been working as Commercial Director for about a year and half, and was responsible for providing Gorillasโ customers with an โamazing assortmentโ while also increasing procurement margins.
Besides, Gorillas claims that Dellis has been essential in completing and bringing the Jumbo partnership to fruition, among other things. She has more than 15 years of experience working in international retail across various regions.

Founded in 2020 by Kagan Sumer, Gorillas is a grocery delivery provider that claims to deliver desired goods from cart to doorstep in just 10 minutes. The platform has access to more than 2000 essential items at retail prices for a delivery fee of just over โฌ1.80.
Gorillas provides all riders with fixed employment contracts, health insurance, employer-financed accident insurance, and paid vacation. In 2021, the company raised approx โฌ1.29B in funding and currently sits at a valuation of $3.1B โ also making it the fastest unicorn in Europe.
Currently, its services are operational in Germany, France, Italy, the US, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, and Denmark.
