AppFollow.io, a Helsinki-based startup that helps businesses manage mobile apps and user feedback from all major app stores, has secured an investment of $1.1M ( approx €995K). This round was led by the company’s current investors — Vendep Capital and RTP Global, who have previously invested in AlphaSence, Delivery Hero, Inside Secure, Leadfeeder, Xolo and Yandex.
Product development and marketing activities!
With the funding, the company seeks to strengthen the company’s presence in the U.S. and European markets. In addition to it, the company will use this investment for new product development and increasing sales and marketing activities.
AppFollow’s CEO Anatoly Sharifulin, said
With 4 million apps in the App Store and Google Play Store, it’s hard to keep track of critical app updates and find opportunities for growth. With AppFollow, companies can get an overview of all what happens in app stores including changes of app rating, rankings, featuring, user reviews and compare themselves to market leaders in a single dashboard.
That being said, let’s have a look at five exciting things about this company and what makes it special.
App Monitoring platform!
For the uninitiated, AppFollow is an App Monitoring, App Store Optimization, and Customer Support platform. This company was founded by Anatoly Sharifulin, Evgeny Kruglov, Pavel Vlasov. This platform helps users gather and manage apps and game data, increase app conversion rate, improve app store rankings, and app user loyalty.
AppFollow.io helps mobile app companies or owners to track keywords performance, increase the organic installs with ASO (App Store Optimization) Tools, track competitors, and market leaders.
Employs people remotely from 11 countries!
On the other hand, it also serves as an app competitor analysis tool, that helps you detect their flaws and outstrip them. Being fully remote, the company has grown from 15 to 63 members of staff in 1 year. Now, employees cover 11 countries all over the world and can assist AppFollow’s clients in different time zones.
How AppFollow differ from other services?
Unlike other services, this Helsinki-based platform combines Data Mining, App Store Optimization, and Customer Support, making it an all-rounder. In terms of the revenue model, the startup generates income by charging customers a monthly fee based on the number of tacked apps and reviews they are looking to reply to.
Supports most of the App stores!
Notably, it supports App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, Mac App Store, and Amazon App Store. Furthermore, this platform allows users to reply to app store reviews, in particular to iOS, Android, Windows app and game reviews.
Clients and competitors.
AppFollow serves both big and small companies like Babbel, HBO, Gett, Wrike, Wargaming, Upwork, JamCity, Deezer to name a few that want to bring their apps to the top of the charts. It’s worth mentioning that the company competes against the likes of App Annie, Appbot, Sensor Tower, Apptopia and much more.
