The Netherlands-based recruitment platform Heyu Works announced that it has entered into a new collaboration with Otto Holding, the parent organisation of OTTO Work Force and OTTO Health Care.

OTTO will provide Heyu Works with a large financial investment to support its growth. On top of that, this collaboration will offer Heyu Works the capital, knowledge, and expertise to support its ambitious expansion.

Heyu Works launched its recruitment platform in November 2022. The company says its innovative platform provides job seekers and professionals with three free assessments to learn more about their personality, cognitive skills and motivations.

The assessment result then anonymously matches professionals with companies and their open positions. These can help them to find the ideal workplace that suits their skills and contributes to their personal growth.

So far, many large companies have adopted this approach, including YoungCapital, BetCity, Welten, KNVB, and AFAS Software.

Since its launch, Heyu Works has attracted over 4,500 professionals. The company plans to double its user count with the help of the investment by the end of 2023, possibly reaching more than 35,000 by the end of 2024.

“The DNA profiles of Heyu and OTTO match extremely well. At OTTO, the employee is central in every respect, and that is what we strive to achieve with Heyu,” Janic Makizodila, Founder of Heyu Works, says. “That’s exactly where we found the perfect match.”

How professionals join Heyu Works

It is easy for professionals to employ Heyu’s platform. They only need to create an account, fill in their personal information and what job they are looking for, and then take the free assessments.

Once done, professionals can have the chance to discover which organisations and vacancies match your preferences, culture, personality, motivations and cognitive skills.

Companies will then reach out to the users based on anonymous test results, ensuring a good match. If they’re interested in a company or position, they can express their interest anonymously.

The company will see usersโ€™ test scores, but personal information is protected. If both parties are interested, they can reveal their profile.

People in the heart of the company

The OTTO organisation was founded in the Netherlands in 2000. Since then, it has grown steadily each year. It now has 27,000 active employees throughout 13 European countries, with 18,000 in the Netherlands alone.ย

According to Frank van Gool, CEO and founder of OTTO Work Force, their growth is attributed to their unique approach in contrast to the majority of the market. They value their people, which, at its core, is similar to Heyu Works.

“We strongly believe in the Heyu Works platform because it has exactly the same goal. The candidate is at the centre of everything they do,” Frank says. “We are therefore looking forward to a fruitful collaboration.”

OTTO Work Force employees work in various sectors, such as retail, logistics, production and food industries. Its clients include post.nl, Tommy Hilfiger, Shimano, DHL, Hello Fresh, ModusLink, and many more.
