Amsterdam-based Just Eat Takeaway, Europe’s biggest food delivery company, announced on Thursday, September 29, that its Supervisory Board, collectively with its group companies, has chosen to appoint Andrew Kenny and Jörg Gerbig as members of its Management Board.

The company also announced that Mieke De Schepper and Dick Boer have been appointed as members of the Supervisory Board.

By proposing Andrew Kenny (age 39) for the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), the Supervisory Board has decided to increase the size of the Management Board. Kenny served as MD for Just Eat UK throughout his five years with the organisation. He most recently assumed the role of Interim COO and is also a member of the company’s executive management team.

Jörg Gerbig (40) will be nominated by the Supervisory Board for reappointment in his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

With these nominations, Jitse Groen (CEO), Brent Wissink (CFO), Jörg Gerbig (COO), and Andrew Kenny (CCO) will make up the Management Board of Just Eat Takeaway.com.

In order to fill the Supervisory Board’s openings, the company says that a search has been conducted. Three posts, including the chair, are open as a result of the Supervisory Board’s decision to increase the Supervisory Board from seven to eight members.

Dick Boer (65) will be nominated as Chair. Boer currently already serves as a non-executive director for Nestlé and for Shell plc., and as a supervisory director of SHV Holdings. He also served as president and CEO of Ahold Delhaize.

Mieke De Schepper (46) currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer for Trustpilot and a member of the supervisory board of trivago N.V.

Both nominees will be appointed, leaving one vacancy on the Supervisory Board, which the Supervisory Board plans to fill with a female supervisory director, for whom the search is now underway.
