Luxembourg-based laundry and dry-cleaning startup Klin has secured €200,000 funding to widen its team and upgrade machinery. Besides, developing a mobile application and a sleek user interface is the precedence of the startup. The investment is led by Ralph Krips, a private investor along with other entrepreneurs.
Ralph explicated about his investment in Klin, “Local, innovative, ecological, digital, customer-oriented, and with its own machine park – in short, a startup offering real added value to its users by democratizing the Luxembourg laundry market”.
Klin co-founder Antoine Hron added, “We didn’t expect the fundraising to complete so quickly but the timing is ideal and will make Klin a key player in dry cleaning and laundry in Luxembourg.”
Klin – digital and ecological laundry solution
Startup Klin was founded in 2017 by Pit Zens and Antoine Hron in Luxembourg. It offers e-service for laundry and dry cleaning in an eco-friendly manner. Customers can schedule a pick-up and delivery of their clothes at their convenient time and place. Further, the advanced cleaning is done by means of an ecological process keeping minimal use of chemicals. The clean clothes are delivered in reusable packaging instead of plastic bags to avoid plastic and metal waste.
Presently, the startup cleans about 5500 pieces of clothes every month and now, after the funding, it is aimed at escalating its operational capacity and customer penetration. Without hurrying for international expansion, Klin is intended to focus on Luxembourg market.
