Apart from finding the right product to sell, the Amazon sellers or agencies must create an optimised and compelling product listing to be visible and successful in the e-commerce business. However, what most sellers don’t know is how to make a winning strategy and crack the algorithm. And this is where Nozzle.ai fills the gap.
Helps sellers drive business to profitability
Based out of London, Nozzle.ai is an e-commerce and advertising optimisation platform for Amazon. This platform helps sellers, brands, and agencies across the globe drive the most important business metrics, from sales or new to brand customers to profitability growth.
Raised €2.1M funding
Recently, Nozzle.ai, a spin-out of UCL’s Computer Science Department, raised $2.6M (approx €2.1M) funding from Parkwalk Advisors, The Angel CoFund (ACF), UCL Technology Fund (UCLTF), and a syndicate of e-commerce-expert angel investors. The UCL is internationally recognised for its AI capabilities and has a strong record in spinning out successful startups.
Victor Malachard, Nozzle.ai co-founder and executive chairman says, “This funding will help us reach new retailers and further support our existing clients in addressing the challenges and opportunities of selling and advertising in a competitive and fast-growing marketplace.”
Product development, team expansion, and more
The company intends to use the funding to accelerate the company’s growth, expanding the team, and develop its proprietary AI platform.
The UK startup was established by data scientists and Amazon experts to help brands maximise sales and share category and advertising performance on Amazon.
Uses Amazon’s API ecosystem
Using the data sets available through Amazon’s API ecosystem, Nozzle.ai provides companies with various inputs including – operational efficiencies, deep insights, and delivers continuous media spend optimisation and sales performance across Amazon’s entire ad tech stack.
The Nozzle.ai product suite of audit, analytics, and activation (bid management) are offered as both managed and SAAS products. The products are already in commercial use with more than 100 customers, including Omnicom Media Group and Interpublic Group agencies Reprise and J3.
David Grimm, investment director at UCLTF says, “Nozzle.ai have used their deep understanding of data engineering and machine learning to wring incredible insight out of disparate datasets. We have been highly impressed with the value this is creating for their customers, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic when Nozzle.ai algorithms helped clients identify and respond to the rapidly changing consumer behaviours. We are delighted to continue supporting them as they enter the next stage of growth”.
