Last update:

From mentoring to networking, incubators and accelerators play a crucial role in today’s startup communities throughout the world. They provide a much-needed launchpad for entrepreneurs who want to establish scalable and robust businesses. It is one of the popular ways at present to get a business up and running. To date, many of the world’s most successful startups have had the backup of startup incubators.

Five new startups join ZEBOX ecosystem

In this regard, ZEBOX, an international incubator & accelerator, announced the arrival of five new startups to its ecosystem. According to ZEBOX, one startup ‘Twinlify’ will undertake the acceleration program, while the rest ABIM, EyeGauge, and Geopallet will join the incubation program. Nautic Blue, a tourism startup, will join the incubation program located in the Caribbean.

ZEBOX’s acceleration program will help the startup to reach the next level of development through a unique network of partners and investors within eight months. The incubation program lasts from 12 to 18 months to lay the foundations for the development of a startup. It focuses on tailored support and high-level experts in an exceptional working environment.

Selected based on technological innovation

ZEBOX focuses on two sectoral fields: transport, logistics, and mobility applied to various segments like energy, which is an axis of strategic development, and industry 4.0. The projects selected are those that incorporate technological innovation: artificial intelligence, blockchain, virtual or augmented reality, IoT, and robotics.

With this in mind, let’s have a closer look at the five startups joining the ZEBOX adventure.

Twinlify

Specialised in energy, transport, and SMART Logistics, Twinlify enriches 3D models of real environments with data from the IoT present in the field. The collected data are then represented visually and contextually, making it more efficient to operate and supervise them on the sites.

Founded in 2019, the French startup wanted to join ZEBOX to accelerate its immersion in the PACA region, as well as its development in France and internationally.

ABIM

ABIM specialises in audits of submerged structures and their modelling. The startup has developed a 3D and 4D digitisation system for port infrastructures and submerged structures, based on AR and AI. This digital solution allows business managers to “see what they cannot see” and to highlight degraded elements that could lead to an operating loss.

EyeGauge

EyeGauge establishes a new approach to affordable digitalisation. The startup is on a mission to simplify the data processing by digitising equipment and machines in the shipping industry. As a result, EyeGauge has created a solution based on AI, a smart camera that can read the indicators and data and send their video feeds back to a dashboard.

Geopallet

Geopallet has developed a connected, modular, and sustainable pallet, using IoT to enable companies to minimise packaging costs and waste, optimise space, and reduce fuel costs.

Nautic Blue

Nautic Blue is all about the concept of responsible tourism by creating water sport activities that use solar energy and recycled rainwater. Alongside this, customers can use a mobile application during their visit to scan elements of biodiversity and receive information on fauna and flora on their smartphone. The startup has joined the Guadeloupe incubation program.

Notably, ZEBOX announced the launch of a new incubation hub in the Caribbean. The startups are now supported by that hub while being temporarily housed in Le Café Papier, located in the business park of the Baie Mahault in Guadeloupe. At the same time, the finishing touches are made to ZEBOX Caribbean.
