PayByPhone, a global provider of mobile parking payment solutions, has now started its service in the Netherlands. With this move, the platform offers Dutch residents and visitors a simpler and better parking experience.

Notably, it is available in 117 Dutch cities, including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Leeuwarden, and Breda. Last year, PayByPhone reached over 30 million registered users mark, witnessing a 22 percent growth from the previous year.

For the uninitiated, PayByPhone is a hassle-free solution that allows users to pay for parking with just their smartphone. The app sends text messages automatically when a parking session expires and gives drivers the ability to extend their parking session without needing to return to their vehicle.

Drivers can also begin a session without registering for an account, making it ideal for those who are pressed for time. With this platform, the user is not bound by a subscription.

Through the company’s mobile web, smartphone and smartwatch applications, PayByPhone helps millions of consumers easily and securely pay for parking without the hassles of waiting in line, having to carry change or risking costly fines. PayByPhone is available across North America and Europe in over 180 cities, including London, Miami, Vancouver, Newcastle, San Francisco, and Paris.
