Norwegian meeting room systems startup Neat has received an additional investment of $30M(€25M) from Zoom Video Communications to help it bring new innovations for distance learners,
The new investment takes Neat’s valuation to $640M (€541M). So far, Zoom has invested $41M(€34M) in Neat.

Neat will work in close alignment with Zoom to improve the overall user experience. It will innovate to enhance people’s well-being, social interactions and meetings by introducing new ways and technology.
“Zoom and Neat have worked closely together to provide customers with an incredible Zoom meeting experience. This additional investment reflects our belief that Neat’s devices are an outstanding complement to Zoom’s communications platform,” says Oded Gal, Chief Product Officer at Zoom.
Neat has worked closely with Zoom since its inception and it has developed advanced equipment so that Zoom meetings continue to become easier.
