There is no shortage of tech in any form when it comes to Consumer Electronics Show that happened in Las Vegas. Considering the sheer scale of the event, exhibitors around the world showcased their innovations in various sectors of interest.

Among others, several Italian tech startups showcased their achievements. In the third edition of Made in Italy – the Art of Technology, promoted by TILT – The Italian Lab for Technology, around 50 innovative Made in Italy companies participated in the event. It was co-organised and sponsored by ICE-ITA, Italian Trade Agency – Agency for the promotion of Italian companies abroad and internationalisation.

For the uninitiated, the Italian Trade Agency is the Governmental agency that supports the business development of companies abroad and promotes the attraction of foreign investment in Italy. For the CES 2020, TILT selected 50 startups from Italy operating in the Smart Home, Wearable, Health & Wellness, Vehicle, eCommerce / enterprise solutions sectors. Notably, two clusters were dedicated to female entrepreneurship with 13 startups and Green technologies, with seven startups.

Among 50 startups, a couple of startups led by female entrepreneurs, including EFG Elettronica, (offers video handset as a mobile video-communication system for professionals, operators, and volunteers) and NuvAp (smart detection devices for monitoring pollution in closed environments) stood out.
