Patrick de Zeeuw, co-founder of Startupbootcamp and the Innoleaps Group, passed away on Saturday, October 15, at the age of 54. His partners Ruud Hendriks and Alceo Rapagna announced the news.
Zeeuw retired from his post about a year ago. He is credited with indirectly creating over 5000 jobs by encouraging hundreds of others to start their own businesses.
Zeeuw’s achievements
Patrick de Zeeuw co-founded three divisions – Startupbootcamp, Innoleaps and The Talent Institute. He also expanded their operations in Australia, Italy, South Africa, and New York.
After finishing his studies, Patrick gained experience in the media sector, managing businesses at companies like Endemol Entertainment and Three Circles Media, before deciding to support innovators wherever he could.
Because of his contributions to the growth of Startupbootcamp into Europe’s largest business accelerator, he rose to prominence in the European startup community.
