Pellegrini Spa has acquired a majority stake in Milan-based Mymenu, an Italian food delivery company that specialises in high-end restaurants and food providers. As part of this acquisition, Mymenu, led by its founders, along with the entire team, will be managed as an independent business unit within Pellegrini Group.
“The deal represents an important milestone for Mymenu and for the whole Italian ecosystem, revealing how the pandemic has accelerated the need of digital transformation for big corporations,” says the company.
MyMenu
Founded in 2013 by Edoardo Tribuzio, Giovanni Cavallo, and Lorenzo Lelli – Lelli, Mymenu is an Italian company dealing with B2C food delivery and B2B welfare solutions. It has a team of 20 people and around 600 drivers supporting in the logistics operations. Its services are available in Milan, Bologna, Padua, Modena, Brescia, Verona.
By joining the Pellegrini Group, “Mymenu will have access to hundreds of corporate customers always in need of new services,” says the company.

According to Crunchbase, Mymenu counts P101 Ventures, Club Italia Investimenti and Nanabianca as its investors. During 2020, the company was able to almost double its total sales and reach breakeven point.

With this acquisition, Pellegrini will have access to Mymenu’s tech assets and digital skills. “By acquiring Mymenu, we aim to reach new markets and new target customers in a landscape in continuous evolution, such as smart working.
