Polish VC firm Inovo Venture Partners bags €40M to back disruptive tech startups in Central and Eastern Europe

Based out of Warsaw, Inovo Venture Partners is a VC fund that invests in tech companies at late Seed / Series A across Poland and the CEE region. Recently, the VC firm has raised €40 million for its second fund from the European Investment Fund and others.

As per the company claims, the fund will see six deals tied up this 2020, with around 20 more companies to secure investment over the next few years like Tidio, Infermedica, and Eyerim.

Founded by Tomasz Swieboda in 2012, the Polish VC firm specialises in recognising innovative startups and bootstrapping their development through participation in late seed and Series A rounds. 

With a team of investment and entrepreneurial professionals, the company has so far invested and helped over 20 companies both through the fund and as business angels. Some companies include Booksy, Brand24 (IPOed), Restaumatic, Sotrender, ECC Games, and others.

Back in 2018, Inovo Venture Partners has been recognised as the best VC investor in Poland by the entrepreneurs (Golden Book of Venture Capital in Poland 2018 published by Startup Poland Foundation and investment industry (House of the Year – Venture Capital by PSIK).
