What are Certified B Corporations?

Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.

B Lab, the founder of B-Corp certification, currently endorses over 1,400 European companies meeting their standards.

“Earning a B Corp Certification is an important step in HPE’s ongoing efforts to balance profit and purpose with a verified and trusted standard. Obtaining this certification is not only our team’s achievement but a declaration of our intent and commitment to be a growth investor who seeks to secure sustainable returns for the good of all stakeholders. HPE Growth believes in the power of digital technology to scale technology’s contribution to solving current environmental and social issues,” says the company.

HPE has implemented ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices to make the business approach sustainable by adjusting the target pipeline and by initiating and supporting environmental, social, and governance initiatives in its partner portfolio companies with an aim toward sustainable growth.

“We look to the future positively and are more than pleased to share this great achievement with our community, specifically as digital technology continues to gain momentum,” says Ayoni Guda, Head of ESG
