Amsterdam’s Sijthoff Media acquires Business Insider Netherlands; Here’s all you need to know

Amsterdam-based Sijthoff Media, a cross-media publisher of news and creative content in government, IT, marketing & communication, and other fields, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Business Insider Netherlands, an online platform for business news.

With this development, Sijthoff Media says it has further strengthened its position in the Dutch media landscape. The new combination will consist of 200 employees with a turnover of approximately €30M and a combined reach of 3.5 million unique visitors per month.

Brief about Business Insider Nederland 

Business Insider claims to be the largest business news website in the Netherlands with coverage of entrepreneurship, career, personal finance and tech. Currently, it has more than 2.2 million unique visitors per month. The platform is the Dutch edition of Business Insider, the largest business news brand in the world, part of Insider Inc.

Through its new partnership with Alex van Groningen, the platform reaches over one million decision-makers and professionals in both business and government through training courses, events, conferences, expos, awards, executive dinners, magazines and news, and job sites.
