The famous startup incubator, YES!Delft, MRDH (The Metropolitan Region Rotterdam The Hague) and the Dutch accelerator StartupDelta have joined forces to launch a new platform to connect startups with businesses called Startup Corner. This platform is a YES!Delft spin-out and provides a single point of contact for tech startups and the industry in the Dutch ecosystem to accelerate tech innovation.
How Startup-Corner helps tech startups?
Startup-Corner helps entrepreneurs by bringing together business coaches, investors, potential team members, launching customers and industry experts.
Take a look at the video below to understand how it works.
Three pillars of Startup-Corner
What specific services does this platform bring to the table? Sunny De Roo, founder of Startup Corner shares that this is an online platform focused on three pillars including specific all-round services, innovation challenges, and unique events.
#1 All-round services
Every startup is built on sound building blocks – from finance to HR to pilot projects. So, if you’ve made your profile on Startup-Corner, you can get enabling low-key and easily accessible advice, services and collaborations. Partners like EY, Rabobank, Ugoo, PNO, Prorail, and Fieldlabs can provide much-needed service for your startup to grow.
#2 Innovation challenges
Partners and industrial firms are able to share innovation challenges with startups. This helps established companies solve hard problems and scout the best available talent via competitive challenges.
#3 Unique events
Startups registered with Startup-Corner get access to unique events, including exclusive networking and master classes with fellow startups and companies.
“We want to digitalize the Dutch ecosystem by giving tech startups, the industry and service partners access to a single point of contact. By initiating Startup Corner, we try to make networking and connecting with industry experts more efficient and approachable. Hereby we enable startups to accelerate and grow faster,” said Evert Jaap Lugt, managing director of YES!Delft.
Coffee and an inspiring-private space for entrepreneurs
Other than its core services, Startup Corner offers two locations for entrepreneurs to meet partners and experts. The first is in Delft at YES!Delft and the second one in Rotterdam at CIC.
Entrepreneurs can use the spaces for a meeting free of charge and have a cup of coffee in an inspiring and private space to make the next move in their startup journey.
