StartupDelta’s Special Envoy Prince Constantijn will launch online TV-Channel Startup Holland TV during next month’s CES fair in Las Vegas. The Prince of Startups will be accompanied by TradeCast founder Yillmaz Schoen and Henk Kamp, the Dutch Minister for Economic Affairs. The launch will take place during an event night on January 5th.
Promoting the Dutch ecosystem
Startup Holland TV will focus solely on promoting the Dutch startup-ecosystem. Its primary target is presenting Dutch startups on a global stage. The video platform also hopes to have a beneficial impact on connections and cooperations between Dutch startups. The online TV station will broadcast 24 hours per day and viewers can tune in through the webchannel or through apps for iOS, Android, Apple TV’s and Smart TV’s. A cloud-linear timeline will showcase the best new innovations these Lowlands have to offer. Obviously content will also be available on demand.
Men on a Mission
TradeCast is a startup from the city of Zwolle that wants to enable anyone to create their own tv station by using the company’s software. The startup claims their technology applies to “brands, universities, football clubs, popstars, politicians as well as DJ’s”. TradeCast is one of the participants picked by the Dutch Government for an Economic Trade Mission that will represent the Netherlands at The CES in Las Vegas, the biggest techfair in the world. Founder Schoen is obviously excited about being picked and about the upcoming launch: “This international trade mission offers many chances to us as a startup. That our technology can now contribute to the visibility of all innovations in the Dutch startup-ecosystem is fantastic”.
International Debut
For Tradecast, the “Mission To Vegas” marks the company’s international debut. And there is more going on with the TV-startup, as it is about to launch several themed online TV-channels for Dutch celebrities and sportsclubs as well as some international companies. Schoen will also announce some other big trade partners for Startup Holland TV soon.
