Stockholm-based Flowbox has developed a platform for User-Generated Content (UGC), which lets brands to use their customers’ social media content and create engaging marketing and drive sales.
Founded in 2016 by Marcus Carloni, the company has offices in Stockholm, Amsterdam, Antwerp, and Zurich. This Stockholm-based startup has a wide range of clients with the major ones being NA-KD, Hermine Hold, G-Star, Tom Dixon, etc.
Secures €7.5M funding
The Swedish SaaS startup has secured €7.5 million from Nordic venture capital firm Viking Venture, which is one of the leading software investors in growth companies in the region. With this investment, Flowbox intends to gear up its ongoing expansion in Europe, strengthen its position on key European markets, and develop additional products. Also, it intends to become a leader in the market of User-Generated Content.
Becomes a part of Viking Venture!
Apart from what it intends to do with the investment, Flowbox is also in plans to become a part of the community of Viking Venture portfolio companies that share experiences and best practices with one another. And, a full-time recruiter will be needed to assist Flowbox in the recruitment task, which is an essential part of the company’s growth plan in the future.
“We are experiencing very positive momentum that we want to exploit, which is one of the reasons why we raise external capital. The choice fell on Viking Venture as they are active investors with deep expertise from previous investments in Nordic cloud companies that have made the same journey as we are embarking on”, said Marcus Carloni, founder and CEO of Flowbox.
