Enter the French market
The investors include French venture capitalist Anaxago, Volta Ventures, Pieterjan Bouten and Louis Jonckheere from Showpad, Jeroen Lemaire from InThePocket, Wim Vernaeve from Green Park Investment Partners, and QuaeroQ, Matexi’s investment vehicle.
With this raised capital, the Belgian proptech startup stands to gain additional resources to strategically expand into the French market.
Raphael Bochner from SweepBright, says, “Anaxago impressed us with its in-depth knowledge of the Proptech market and will be able to accelerate our ambitions in the French market by creating collaborations between SweepBright and the various companies in its portfolio.”
Alexandre Heraud of Anaxago says, “The transaction process in the French real estate sector suffers from the same inefficiencies as in Belgium. The French market is up to 10 times bigger and much more competitive for real estate agents. Moreover, the sector is facing major challenges due to the many newcomers (such as ‘online’ agencies) and the health crisis. This requires an accelerated introduction of technologies and tools where SweepBright serves as the technological backbone.”
Anaxago’s Venture Capital investment activities started in 2012. Since 2018, the
Company’s focus areas have been proptech, healthcare, fintech, and impact. The Anaxago group was founded in 2012, and claims to be the first 100% digital neo-private bank.
