Zurich-based Unique, a company specialised in developing an agentic AI platform for financial firms, has secured $30M (approximately €28.6M) in a Series A funding round led by CommerzVentures and DN Capital.
Other investors, including VI Partners and Pictet Group, participated.
The company’s total investment now stands at $53M (approximately €50M) since its founding in 2021.
The Swiss company will use the funds to accelerate product development and fuel its global expansion plans, particularly in the United States.
Besides funding, Unique also appointed Dana Ritter as its new Chief Product Officer, effective April 2025.
Previously, a Group Product Manager at Google Deepmind, Dana led the successful launch of the Gemini project on Android and drove 15x Confidential growth as Head of Gemini Growth and Retention.

The company does it by leveraging agentic AI, enabling teams to focus on high-value work, and reducing manual effort and operational risk.
Unique’s goal is to automate resource-heavy and standardised workflows through an agentic workforce that complements employees.
The company’s AI is already deployed by blue-chip companies with more than $2.3T in assets under management, including Pictet Group, UBP, LGT Private Banking, SIX, and other top players in the financial services space.
