Denmark-based SynergyXR, a company empowering enterprises to utilise spatial computing and craft their own corporate Metaverse with a no-code XR platform, has secured €2M in a fresh round of funding.
SynergyXR claims to be leading the way in integrating XR and spatial computing to reshape industrial operations. XR (Extended Reality) is a broad umbrella term that encompasses spatial computing technologies, including virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR).
This investment reinforces a mutual vision of harnessing “cutting-edge” XR solutions to improve operational efficiency, prioritise employee safety, and revolutionise training methods.
Investors supporting SynergyXR
The round was led by Finnish industrial technology VC firm Kvanted, alongside contributions from existing investors EIFO, Innovestor, North-East Ventures and AURA Ventures.
Eerik Paasikivi, Founding Partner from Kvanted, says, “We’re thrilled to fuel the fire of innovation by partnering with pioneers who redefine the boundaries of software and hardware. SynergyXR isn’t just creating technology; they’re crafting the future of industrial digital transformation.”
“Their proven software solution promises to revolutionise manufacturing and processing industries, offering unparalleled opportunities for employee development and process enhancement. This is the kind of tangible, transformative value we’re excited to support.”
Capital utilisation
With this funding, SynergyXR is set to expand its presence in Northern Europe and the US, strategically positioning itself to lead in the XR space and empower industrial companies for success in the digital age.
SynergyXR CEO, Mads Troelsgaard says, “In today’s dynamic digital landscape, transformation is not just about staying relevant; it is about seizing the lead with technology that’s already proven its worth.”
“Despite a tightening investment climate, our ability to not only retain our trusted investors but also welcome Kvanted into our circle is a testament to our vision’s strength and our technology’s impact.”
“This partnership marks a pivotal step towards accelerating our growth across the Nordics and the UK – and Europe and the US, as well – setting new benchmarks for success in our industry.”
A no-code XR platform
Founded in 2008, SynergyXR is a no-code, enterprise XR platform that enables companies to enhance their operations in Extended Realities without requiring technical expertise or coding skills.
The company’s founders include Mads Troelsgaard (CEO), Sune Wolff (CTO) and Thomas Fenger (Chief Experience Officer).
Specialising in industries like manufacturing and energy, SynergyXR aims to make XR technologies, including virtual and augmented reality, an integral part of daily operations.
The platform offers tools for design, development, and deployment across various XR devices, catering to professionals dealing with complex and technical products.
The firm says, “We see a future and a present where extended realities like augmented and virtual reality will continue to revolutionise the way we live, work, and play. Things will become easier and work faster. We’ll discover new ways to communicate and share.”
“That’s why we’re committed to helping these technologies become the norm. By designing and building people-first solutions, we can help bring XR to businesses today, not tomorrow.”
