On top of that, there are a huge number of incubators, accelerators, and co-working spaces, providing a pleasant environment to international businesses and citizens alike.

Slush Helsinki 2019!

If you are unaware, Slush is the world’s leading startup and tech event that facilitates meetings between the founders of startups and investors. This event is held annually in Helsinki, Finland, in an attempt to build a worldwide startup community. 

In this article, we have jotted down the list of the hottest startups from the Netherlands that will be participating in Slush this year.

Expivi: Based out of Eindhoven, Expivi is an online 3D product configuration platform that revolutionises online shopping practices. It’s an interactive and visual platform that generates an immersive shopping experience with the help of instant 3D configurations and AR.

BeMup: BeMup provides an alternative to the private car. With a BeMup subscription, you can order a ride 24/7, and you’ll be on your way within 5 minutes. 

Ubiqu: This Rotterdam-based startup is specialised in developing highly secure mobile authentication tokens. They offer their mobile cloud technology software to companies around the globe who care about your personal data and want to protect it. 

Blockbird: Blockbird is an AI and blockchain-powered personalised news aggregation platform. 

Mobina IT: Mobina developed a unique software management control tool for the manufacturing industry to help companies to stay competitive, digitize and innovate. 

MiniBrew: Founded in 2015 by Bart van de Kooij and Olivier van Oord, the Utrecht-based startup has developed a brewing robot that can produce beer at home. They’ve also developed an app that guides users at every step of the brewing process.

Serious VR: This startup develops and licenses VR Training and Assessments for operators in the industry. Furthermore, the Enschede-based startup also provides performance insights with its VR Training Performance Analytics Platform. 

AlarmSecur: AlarmSecur.com is founded by Simon Kraan and Roderik van der Touw. This platform integrates any sensor triggered device (like an alarm system) with CCTV and will send push notification to your phone 13 seconds video + 2 seconds before the sensor was triggered.

Swipe Guide:  SwipeGuide was founded by female founder Willemijn Schneyder and Daan Assen in 2016. The company aims to save the world from useless instructions and deliver the most intuitive way to standardise work. To make it simple, this platform simplifies work with effortless digital instructions. 

CodeSandbox: An online editor that helps you create web applications, from prototype to deployment. The startup was founded back in 2017 by Ives van Hoorne and Bas Buursma as a side project. 

The School of House: This is the education platform for dance culture, electronic music, and dance events. TSOH’s aim is to gather theoretical and practical knowledge about the Dance culture in an inspiring way

Niluk app: Niluk app is a social network that facilitates meaningful social contact among young adults. 

TreeTech: TreeTech introduces the accuracy of a mouse and keyboard to a game controller in the most modular way possible! The Po!nt Game Controller is the latest revolution in game controllers. 

Nori Health: This offers an AI chatbot coach for patients with chronic diseases. This chatbot program provides unlimited conversations over a six-week period. Nori, the digital coach, takes the lead, mapping lifestyle patterns, and actively suggesting tailored changes.

Blockheating: This startup uses the heat that is released from a data center to heat greenhouses and buildings. This provides a direct saving for both the data center and the heat user.

Cloudwhale: Cloudwhale provides access to video games to those affected by a disability. With this platform, the company allows the player to maintain their freedom and independence, relieving the pressure of both client and carer.
