This Dutch AI travel startup for maritime industry just raised €1.2M funding for global flight coverage and more

C Teleport, a marine online travel agency, received a €1.2 million investment from Mainport Innovation Fund II. According to the company, it will use the funding for product development and work towards global flight coverage.

In general, Mainport Innovation Fund II was founded in collaboration with Schiphol, KLM, TU Delft, NS and Port of Amsterdam in 2015 along with fund manager NBI Investors, in a bid to support promising companies in the field of logistics, transport and aviation.

C Teleport aims to eliminates manual labour and complexity

For the uninitiated, C Teleport uses AI to enable companies in the maritime industry to book flight tickets which allow for the replacement of traditional travel agencies when it comes to booking, changing and cancelling flights automatically. This, in turn, enables a much faster and more flexible booking process and lowers costs for ship managers.

Provides transparent budget control systems

Founded by Dmitrii Beliakov in 2017, the startup eliminates manual labour, as it finds the relevant flights and automatically interprets rates and other conditions. It enables the user to book, change and cancel flights with a push of the button. Furthermore, it reduces the time spent on data entry and travel management by more than 90%. It also provides transparent budget control systems, which are vital for global travel management.

According to Dmitrii Beliakov, CEO of C Teleport, said:

At first, I was shocked by how difficult and time consuming it is to cancel or modify a flight. There had to be a better way. Our team has spent months analysing available data and has built cutting-edge machine learning models based thereon. This led to the C Teleport solution that offers an array of tools to optimize flexible travel management.
