Amsterdam-based Worktribe announced the launch of its new platform on Monday, June 26, to help rent creative business spaces.
The platform promotes individuals and teams to work outside the office more frequently and to find motivating places to do so.
The company’s motto is “Don’t be afraid to get out of that office”.
What does Worktribe offer?
Founded in 2019 by Brian de Mijttenaere and Omar Ahmed, Worktribe’s platform allows teams and professionals the option to operate remotely. It brings together a range of creative spaces such as conference rooms, work areas, and picture studios.
The startup seeks to change the way people work and collaborate by giving professionals the freedom to personalise their workspace for a day in order to suit their needs and inspire innovation.
Ahmed says, “We want to encourage professionals and teams to get out of the office and discover new inspiring environments. Our ambition is to make a positive impact on the way people work and harness the potential of creative spaces.”
As per the founders, Worktribe’s concept began to take shape around a year and a half ago, and the platform launched this year. Leading organisations are already utilising the company’s platform which currently has over 40 partner locations.
“Working in the office, 9 to 5, every day of the week. It’s almost as if we are no longer looking for inspiring locations around us. In a rapidly changing world, our way of working has not evolved with us. Our mission is to create a new standard of work, connecting creative, corporate venues to professionals and teams. It’s time for change,” mention the founders.
Who can use Worktribe?
Worktribe provides locations for every event, whether it’s a meeting, workshop, or creative session. The platform serves groups of every size and shape, from little SMEs to large corporates.
Mijttenaere says, “Thanks to our background in Online Marketing, we speak with many companies in various industries, who regularly sought a change in working environment. The increasing demand for hybrid work gave us the motivation to start this adventure.”
“Thanks to our marketing experience, we know what it takes to appeal to the right target group and provide them with a user-friendly platform. We wanted to make this available to everyone. The experiences and reactions are very positive, and we are proud of that.”
The company’s end goal is to make “inspiring” venues available to business people outside of the typical office environment.
